Who we are
ThreadTrim is made by EUX Digital in Sydney, Australia (“we”, “us”). These terms cover the ThreadTrim browser extension, threadtrim.com.au and paid ThreadTrim plans. By installing ThreadTrim or buying a plan, you agree to them.
Plans and pricing
- Free: up to 100 trimmed replies a month, resetting on the 1st. No account or card needed.
- Weekly: unlimited trimmed replies, $1.99 USD per week.
- Yearly: unlimited trimmed replies, $19.99 USD per year.
- Lifetime: unlimited trimmed replies for as long as ThreadTrim is available, for a one-time $49.99 USD.
Prices are in US dollars. Your bank may convert them to your currency and may charge a fee for that. Any taxes that apply are shown at checkout. We may change prices for new purchases and renewals; if a change affects your subscription, we’ll tell you before it applies.
Payments and renewals
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Weekly and Yearly plans renew automatically at the end of each period and charge the card on file until you cancel. Your receipt and renewal reminders come from Stripe.
Cancelling
You can cancel a subscription at any time:
- Click Manage subscription in the ThreadTrim popup or on your thank-you page, which opens Stripe’s secure billing portal, or
- Email adrian@eux.com.au and we’ll cancel it for you.
When you cancel, unlimited stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then ThreadTrim goes back to the free plan. Nothing else changes, and your settings stay as they are.
Refunds
You can ask for a full refund of any payment within 14 days of that payment, for any plan (Weekly, Yearly or Lifetime) and for any reason. Email adrian@eux.com.au or reply to your purchase email with the email address you paid with.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Your bank usually shows them within 5 to 10 business days.
- When a payment is refunded, unlimited for that purchase ends and ThreadTrim goes back to the free plan. If you refund a subscription payment, we also cancel the subscription so it won’t renew.
- After 14 days, payments aren’t refundable, except where the law requires it. You can still cancel a subscription at any time to stop future renewals.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer protection laws that apply to you.
Your licence
A paid plan gives you a personal licence key for your own use. You can use it on any computer and browser you use yourself. Please don’t share, sell or publish your licence key. We may switch off a key that’s clearly being shared or misused, after contacting you where we can.
Using ThreadTrim
- ThreadTrim edits your reply drafts on your own device, before you send them. It never sends emails for you. Check your reply before you hit Send. The Undo bar puts back anything ThreadTrim removed.
- Gmail and Outlook change from time to time. We work to keep ThreadTrim compatible, but we can’t guarantee it will work with every version or change they make.
- Don’t reverse-engineer ThreadTrim to get around the free plan’s limit or the licence check, or use it in a way that breaks the law.
Privacy
ThreadTrim never stores or sends your emails. Our privacy policy explains exactly what the extension and this website handle, including what’s needed to check a paid licence.
Our responsibility
ThreadTrim is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This doesn’t apply to anything that can’t be limited by law, including your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as ThreadTrim changes. We’ll post the new version here with a new date, and if a change materially affects a paid plan you already have, we’ll let you know by email first.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
